Delray Beach's latest installment of On the Ave will get political with "Spin the Vote" this Thursday. Billed as a "voter registration project for the EDM community," "Spin the Vote" has been popping in at random events all over the country to motivate young people to be more patriotic, one electrohead at a time. All evening, Atlantic Avenue will be bumpin' for democracy. There will be DJs. There will be break dancing. There will be "a high tower festooned with LED lighting." There will also be normal things too, like an open-air art gallery and a photo booth with the Palm Beach Makos Cheerleaders. "Spin the Vote" On the Ave is in honor of the upcoming election and presidential debate taking place at Lynn University on Monday. Come by on Thursday from 6:30 to 10 p.m. along Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach. Admission is free. Call 561-279-1380, or visit ontheavedelraybeach.com.
