The gift-giving holidays have finally passed. No more worrying about trying to pick out that perfect gift for your work Secret Santa, your boss, or your great-aunt Jane. Better yet: Time to stop pretending you're in love with all of the terrible presents you just got. Go return that Shake Weight or Slanket and buy yourself something you really want. Head down to the sixth-annual Downtown Delray Beach New Year's Weekend Craft Festival, starting Saturday at 10 a.m. Everything sold at the festival is 100 percent handmade and includes jewelry, clothing, wind chimes, leather bags, mixed media, painting, photography, ceramics, hair accessories, dog accessories, and outdoor décor. In addition, street food vendors -- with healthful delights like Italian sausage, cinnamon rolls, and kettle corn -- will be standing by to make sure you have the energy to shop on. The festival starts at Fourth Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. Admission is free. Call 561-746-6615, or visit artfestival.com/FestivalCalendar.
Sat., Dec. 29, 10 a.m.; Sun., Dec. 30, 10 a.m., 2012
