Emily Fisher Landau is a badass philanthropist, and when she's not off philanthroping, she has spent her time over the past five decades amassing an incredible collection of contemporary art. This includes paintings by Richard Prince, Susan Rothenberg, and some guy you may have heard of -- Andy Warhol. But it's not just paintings; she has collected works of art from many media and has gifted more than 300 of them to the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.
"Legacy: The Emily Fisher Landau Collection" is being moved temporarily to the Norton Museum of Art, located at 1451 S. Olive Ave. in West Palm Beach. It will arrive Thursday and stay through June 2. Members and children under 12 get in free, adult admission costs $12, and students pay $5. Also, Palm Beach County residents receive free admission on the first Saturday of every month.
