Touted as a newlywed version of Seinfeld, Mad About You featured the same observational comedy that made us fall for Jerry and the gang. Proving that the laughs aren’t over once you tie the knot, Mad About You cocreator and star Paul Reiser turned the absurdities of married life into big ratings on the small screen. Going back to his roots in standup comedy, the stage is set for Reiser to make you mad with laughter. Expect unexpected guffaws and giggles as Reiser transforms the mundane happenings of modern life into a belly-laugh-inducing perspective twist. Fresh off his role in Behind the Candelabra, with Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, Reiser is proving why his offbeat brand of humor is still at the forefront of comedy. Held at the Palm Beach Improv in CityPlace, 550 S. Rosemary Ave., Ste. 250, in West Palm Beach, performances are at 8 and 10 p.m. Friday and at 7 and 9:45 p.m. Saturday. Tickets cost $25.
