There are people who drink wine, people who like wine, and people who freaking love it -- all of whom enjoy getting drunk. While you may not be able to taste the difference between the notes of boxed wine and a bottle of the most expensive Bordeaux, sommeliers can, and they have an entire wine world of their own. To educate the local masses on the intricate complexities of all that is wine, the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale is hosting a series of events called the Art of Food and Wine. At this latest installment, Stephanie Miskew, certified sommelier and wine educator, will host along with a mystery guest chef of the month.
To learn more about the method and people behind the pairings, on Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., the Museum of Art is hosting a viewing of the humorous film about the Court of Master Sommeliers, Somm. Food and wine pairings will also be sampled. The cost to attend is $50. Seating is limited. Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale is located at 1 E. Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.
