Beer, on the other hand, perfectly fits the bill. And it tastes even better when it’s paired with a bit of barbecue. Crack open a cold one this Saturday at America’s Backyard. Along with Gold Coast Beverage Distributors, the spot is celebrating all things barbecue and brew. From 1 to 5 p.m., the downtown Fort Lauderdale bar is hosting American Brewfest. The event features Revolution Barbecue, food trucks, giveaways, and unlimited samples of beer from more than 25 breweries. Live music is also included.
