All systems are go for Stephane's in Boca Raton which will open its doors to the public this Sunday, July 15. The luxe restaurant is housed in the space previously occupied by Copper Canyon Grill and it will focus on American and French cuisine. The new restaurant is taking reservations online for the opening week via Opentable.


The new Boca restaurant has a few heavy-hitters on its staff list. The kitchen is steered by executive chef John Belleme, formerly of Umi Fishbar + Grill and Zemi, among other places. Virginia Philip, master sommelier and owner of Virginia Philip Wine Shop & Academy, is in charge of the wine list. Bar manager/mixologist Melvin Negron will handle cocktail duty.

The menu is protein-rich with a raw bar, seafood, and a variety of meaty dishes like a double-cut pork chop ($24) and aged prime rib au jus ($29). During the week, they'll offer a $19.90 prix fixe lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays. Current hours for the restaurant are 11:30 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday.
