Don't have a cow: The list is finally here

Flavor Palm Beach, which runs through the month of September, has posted its list of participating restaurants offering a three-course dinner for $30, lunch for $20. The line-up is so disappointing, so baffling, it's given me an ice-cream headache. Hardly any of our best restaurants -- Four Seasons, Breakers, Cafe Boulud, Paradiso, Saporissimo, 32 East, Cafe Europe, Solu, Cafe Chardonnay, and only Cafe Joley in Boca, are in on the deal. You'd think with the recession restaurateurs would be all about getting people through the doors. The paltry participation strikes me as practically surreal -- or maybe so many restaurants ran summer specials that they're all specialed out. Could this be a partial list? Anyway, starred restaurants are our recs. There's a lot of chaff here to filter out.
