If you sat out the dining-in-the-dark trend the first time around, you can give it a whirl on Wednesday night when SoLita Italian Restaurant and the Parlor Lounge in Delray Beach host SoLita in the Dark. You'll be dining in darkness with SoLita servers
outfitted in night-vision goggles on standby to help you avert any disasters, like pouring salt in your wine or taking a bite of a centerpiece. The idea is to stimulate your senses of taste and smell by shutting out visual cues about the food and drink you're enjoying.
The cost is $59 per person not including tax, tip, or drinks. Reservations are required, and the dinner is at 8 p.m. Call 561-899-0888.
