Sublime in Fort Lauderdale is hosting a Vegan Drinks happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 tonight. I have to admit that the name threw me a bit -- most drinks are vegan, right?

So I asked over at South Florida's most famous vegetarian restaurant. Turns out, yes, the drinks are vegan, but Vegan Drinks is actually a mixer for vegans, as in, vegans drink lots of liquor and chat each other up about the tofurkey they devoured last week or the latest vegan shoes by Stella McCartney. Drinks will be two-for-one, and appetizers are buy-one-get-one-half-off.

And what exactly do vegans drink? Sublime sent over a list, and it appears they drink some great-sounding cocktails. Here's what will be offered

tonight:

Espresso Martini
Tru Organic Vanilla vodka, Kahlua, espresso

Pomtini
Charbay pomegranate vodka, pomegranate juice, Pama pomegranate liqueur, simple syrup, fresh lemon

Lychee Martini
Charbay Meyer lemon vodka, Ceres lychee juice

Cu-tini
English cucumber muddled with fresh lime juice, Plymouth gin

Beet-ini
Burnett apple vodka, beet juice, carrot juice

Sublime Mojito
Flor de Cana seven-year dark rum, fresh lime, mint, organic cane sugar

Tangito
Flor de Cana four-year white rum, fresh tangerines, mint leaves, juice of half a lime, simple syrup, splash of club soda

Spiked Sublime-ade
Ketel One Vodka with Sublime's fresh limeade. Order it up or on the

rocks.

Caipirinha
Leblon Cachaca, lime juice, organic cane sugar

Calypso Coffee
Flor de Cana four-year white rum, creme de cacao, Amaretto, coffee, whipped cream
