Good food for a good cause.

That's one of the ideas behind the Denali Family Fun Day fundraising event taking place in Palm Beach Gardens tomorrow.

The day has been custom-designed for Denali, a ten-year-old boy battling a rare form of pancreatic cancer.

Over the past two years, Denali has undergone surgery several times, and is currently undergoing an intensive round of chemotherapy. In need of additional support, the family decided to do something fun to help raise money. So why not a food truck round-up?

In addition to a series of fun activities for both children and adults -- including rides, face painting, games and live performances by local acts -- the event will feature several food trucks, including the rolling ice-cream truck out of Miami, Kona Ice; the Caribbean-themed and West Palm Beach-based Out Of Many Cafe; the sandwich shop on wheels called PRESS'D; a Latin and Mexican-infused burger and steak truck known as The Fire Within; and cheesesteak shop The Philly Grill.

The fundraising event isn't all about food, however. The family fun day will have activities for both children and adults, including rides, face painting and games. There will also be live performances by local act Lucy Lucy Faircloth.

Show you support for Denali and his family, and attend their family fun day, where a portion of the proceeds from the day's fare-for-all will help to pay for continued cancer treatments. For more information visit: www.familyfundayfordenali.com.
