Brooklyn shoegaze pummel-masters a Place to Bury Strangers have been confirmed for Respectable Street's annual Halloween extravaganza, Moonfest 2010. If the name isn't already a pretty convincing vote of confidence for the October 30 event, County Grind can testify from a past ear-smashing that the trio plays loud and sinister enough to shake the corpse-eating maggots in graveyards for miles around. UPDATE: Plus, this is a free event!

In addition to confirming the headliner, Respectable Street's Allan Bowron passed along the rest of the bountiful lineup, which includes some familiar faces and two Surfer Blood side projects. We will add more information about the event as it is released.
