Local indie act Kids is releasing its second album Rich Coast in style at Culture Room. We recently spent some time with this foursome and found out plenty of interesting facts about the guys, which you can read about here. The band took a lot of time out of everyday life to craft this album, and we're sure you'll find it's worth your Friday night.

4. Joel DaSilva at Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery

The Joel DaSilva of the soul-shaking rockabilly band Joel DaSilva & the Midnight Howl is performing at Boca's Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery this Thursday night. Expect to hear some bluesy sounds but feel all the happys.

3. Woody Othello: It's Going To Be Okay

7 p.m., Saturday, January 24 at UNIT 1, 1202 Lucerne Ave., Lake Worth. No cover. Visit Facebook.

FAU graduate and Lake Worth artist Woody Othello will be debuting his solo exhibition titled "It's Going To Be Okay" at Unit 1 art space. Othello's work is multimedia and seriously dark. So get ready to feel the creeps. Also, there will be performances by singer-songwriter Washa and David Lynchian duo Boy Orbison.

2. The Art of Ink and Pistons

3 p.m., Sunday, January 25, at Harold's, 509 Northwood Rd., West Palm Beach. Visit Facebook.

Tattoos are art, so, we ask, why not feature them in art shows?

Enter the Art of Ink and Pistons. Taking place at Harold's in West Palm Beach, it features work by tattoo artists from Ink & Pistons Tattoo shop. Artists featured include JR Linton, Chris Rude, and Matt Vazquez. The Facebook event also states there will be a live electronic/funk battle featuring Beat Thief inc. and Seizure Machine & Associates, LLC. Consider this an art show like no other.

1. Circle Presents Derelicte! (A Fashion Show)

10 p.m., Saturday, January 24, at American Rock Bar and Grill, 1600 E. Hillsboro Blvd., Deerfield Beach. $5 admission. Visit Facebook.

If only that trash scene inspired fashion show from Zoolander was real. Well, with Circle's event this Saturday, it is! Come dressed up in your trashiest best and no, we're not just talking skimpy outfits here. Think garbage bags, cardboard boxes, newspaper and more. There will also be prizes for the best derelict inspired outfit. Oh, and don't forget your Blue Steel at home -- you're gonna need it.
