That's what I said?

But last night around 6 p.m., my phone was ringing off the hook from a publicist trying to get me to do a sit-down interview with P who'll be here today talking about his upcoming album, HNIC2. If you don't already know, Prodigy was recently sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison for illegal gun possession a few months ago (although he's got an interesting theory about being set up by the hip-hop police task force on this one) in New York City and has to turn himself in on January 9th.

So "Free the P" should be the new slogan for 2008. When his new album drops in March, it will be the slogan of 2008.

Even though Prodigy is on his way in to due a bid, he's still staying crazy creative, and releasing new horror videos like the one below. I love a good music video that can combine kids, the ABC's and crooked cops (say what?) and leave it to P to bring all of that together in his latest vid.
