Well, one national summer tour is not enough for this band, so Jacob's Ladder is hitting the road again -- but not before hitting the studio. On Thursday, they'll head to the Dungeon to record a new EP, produced by Cyrus Bolooki of New Found Glory, which is slated for a November 6 release.

After that, they'll play another show at -- you guess it! -- Churchill's, on August 21, with tourmates Your Best Friend, a similarly minded, proggy-ish, indie-ish rock band from Saginaw, Michigan. Following that, the two acts will set out on that new national tour, dubbed the "Obey Your Mastour." It'll be Jacob's Ladder's ninth trek through the country.

Stay tuned to Crossfade next week for a peek inside Jacob's Ladder's studio sessions.
