Sistrunk was not the ideal place to hang out a few years ago. Not anymore. The historical street is now superfancy, with brick-designed crosswalks and landscaped medians. This Saturday, the newly lovely street will host the annual Sistrunk Historical Street Parade and Festival to celebrate Black History Month. After the parade, the festival will include live entertainment -- with two stages -- vendor booths with food, arts and crafts, merchandise, and information. The Kidz Zone will feature bounce houses, crafts, a videogame truck, and other activities. -- Sara Ventiera
