The extent of what you need to know about Aventura is found in Rob Harvilla's enticing review of the Bronx-based Dominican bachata balladeers' massive showing at New York's Madison Square Garden back in January. In sum: These guys are smooth -- girlfriends are thinking about them, and boyfriends are trying not to.

On July 6 and July 7, the quartet, fronted by vocalist Anthony "Romeo" Santos, will perform two steamy nights at Hard Rock Live. Tickets go on sale Saturday.

For a musical primer, take a listen to "Yo Quisiera Amarla," which injects that helium-enhanced baby singing that served Kanye West early on, and launches into a sweet, heart-melting R&B melody in Spanish -- until a shout of "y'all just can't do it like we do it" reminds us why this group has a lock on Billboard's Latin chart.

For a visual that features Aventura at their seductive best from the "so nasty" line that opens it up, the "Dile Al Amor" video is  honest testament to what these guys can, and will, do.
