Those who frequent too many Internet gossip sites might forever (in Internet years, anyways) associate Cisco Adler with a certain waist-down photo that circulated a couple years back. That's okay though. Here in South Florida, land of a thousand chances, the one thing blog notoriety guarantees is the opportunity to appear in expensive Miami Beach nightclubs. And when he's not letting it all hang out, or dating clubby LA starlets, Adler is nominally a musician.

No longer fronting Whitestarr, a band mostly known for being chronicled on a VH1 reality series, he's now working with alt-ish rapper Shwayze.... And the partnership was also duly chronicled on an MTV reality series. Together they co-wrote Shwayze's 2008 self-titled debut album, which scored some bona fide hits: The haplessly happy singles "Buzzin" and "Corona and Lime" both reached the upper half of the Billboard Hot 100. Wednesday, September 2, both drop in on the alternate reality that is the super-club LIV for a performance in the kind of swanky-sleaze environment they know best.

4441 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach. Doors open at 10 p.m., and tickets cost $30 in advance from wantickets.com. Ages 21+ with ID. 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com.
