5. Second-Annual "Caturday Saturday" at Green Room

10 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Green Room, 109 SW Second Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-449-1025, or visit Facebook.

This Saturday, Green Room will be bursting with everything feline. The event benefits the amazing Cat Network, which helps spay and neuter gatos as well as get them adopted. Kitties will be present and available to bring home. You're gonna fall in love with a four-legged beast, so bring that cat carrier with you.

Festivities include performances by False Flags, DJ TONXyKat, and DJ LinderSMASH. There'll be free copies of the Kitten Empire Gazette, a kitten art gallery, photo booth by Renee Ferriell, and Midnight Mar-Kat cat swag. Did we mention that there's a kitten cover band called Boyz 2 Kittens? Crazy cat ladies welcome. #meow

4. New York Dolls Tribute Show at Mickey's Bar Pompano Beach

9 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Mickey's Bar Pompano Beach, 350 SW 12th Ave., Pompano Beach. Call 954-941-1611, or visit Facebook.

A whole slew of bands is playing at this gig, so at least one of them is bound to do the New York Dolls some justice. Based on the lineup, this will be one bitchin' tribute (that's a good thing, in case you didn't know); bands include the Florida Waldos, Charlie Pickett, the Riot Act, Shark Valley Sisters, Homo featuring Elyse Perez, Riot Agents, Jolly Badfellow, and Gail Jeanne.

3. C&I Studios and Exposed PR Present: Backstage

8 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at C&I Studios, 541 NW First Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-357-3934, or visit Facebook.

If you ever wanted to be a fashion star minus the paparazzi and strict diet of air and water, this event is for you. Revel on the Block, C&I Studios, and Exposed PR & Events teamed up to present the most fashionable clothing experience SoFla has to offer. Vendors like the Trendy Truck, Dena Venable, Montce, the Archives, and Sea&Shore Apparel will be out and slinging their duds.

Want your hair did? Just Air will hook you up with beautiful tresses while you're there. Don't start swiping that credit card after more than a few sips from brews courtesy of Fort Laudy's elusive Riverside Market. You may look like Kate Moss after this Backstage experience, but you don't have her budget, and nothing stings like $100 undies you bought when wasted.

2. Mylo Ranger at Dada

11 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Dada, 52 N. Swinton Ave., Delray Beach. Call 561-330-3232, or visit Facebook.

Seriously, you can't NOT be in a good mood after listening to "Hold On Darlin'." We dare you to even try.

1. Endless Summer Sundays at Exit 66

1 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Exit 66, 219 S. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-357-9981, or visit Facebook.

Guys never get in free anywhere. That's why Endless Summer Sundays at Exit 66 are so awesome. Dudes get in with no cover before 4 p.m., while ladies are, of course, admitted free all day. Eran Hersh will spin tracks as you sip on two-for-one drinks and boozy specials all day from Svedka. Bikinis and banana hammocks optional.
