Marco Rubio and the GOPers have their new Obama outrage to dryhump with this IRS fiasco where they targeted conservative groups during the 2012 election.

And so Rubes is asking -- nay, DAMANDING -- that the IRS Commissioner resign his IRS Commissiony job effective immediately because... outrage!

Also, there is no IRS Commissioner.

In an outraged letter to Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, Rubio wrote:

"[I]t is clear the IRS cannot operate with even a shred of the American people's confidence under the current leadership. I strongly urge that you and President Obama demand the IRS Commissioner's resignation, effectively immediately. No government agency that has behaved in such a manner can possibly instill any faith and respect from the American public."

Douglas H. Shulman used to be the acting commissioner. He was appointed by the Bush administration in 2008. He already resigned this past November, showing us that Rubio is either unaware of what's going down in the IRS, or his demand for Shulman's resignation is so filled with outrage that it resonated into the past. Like a Flux Capacitor of anger.

Shulman's successor has yet to be appointed.

Rubio's peeps say Cottonmouth Willie is referring to "acting" IRS commissioner Steven T. Miller in his outrage letter. But Miller was a deputy commissioner under Shulman, and likely had nothing to do with the IRS' shenanigans.

No, this is just Rubio looking to try and swing his proverbial dong around and publicly show how outraged he is over all this.

And what better way to do that to demand the immediate ousting of a non-existent person to show everyone how you mean business!

Rubio will not let this aggression by non-entities stand, man.

You've been warned, Mr. Snuffleupagus!
