It means that the Old Capital of Florida Corruption, Broward County, gets a breather. At least until old Alex Acosta gets around to assigning federal prosecutors to take a closer look at the pay-to-play culture that's nearly identical in these parts. But until then, feel free to call this a "golden age" of Broward politics. Ignorance may not be bliss, but it's about the closest we'll get to it.
