Rick Scott has been one tenacious little monkey when it comes to banning Obamacare navigators from Florida hospitals. So much so, he's taken the fight all the way to Congress.

But Broward County officials ain't care about what Scott wants and have decided to go ahead and allow the navigators to do their thing in the county's public health clinics.

"The governor can go do and say what he wants," Broward Mayor Kristin Jacobs said. "But he can't do it in Broward County."

OH SNAP.

These navigators are basically people trained by the government to answer questions and get people to sign up for the Affordable Care Act.

But Scott has voiced his "concerns" that these navigators aren't properly trained or suited to handle medical information, because Rick Scott knows all about how to properly handle medical insurance stuff. HIS RECORD IS UNBLEMISHED IN THIS AREA!

Scott wrote a letter to Congress voicing his concerns and has placed a ban on Florida's public hospitals allowing navigators to do their job because Big Government should never meddle with people's lives... errrrr... something.

But Broward commissioners noted that the county owns the health clinic buildings and leases them to the state. Therefore, Scott can go ahead and shove his "concerns" up his nose with a rubber hose.

So the commission voted on it and decided to let the navigators come on in and start enrolling folks come October 1.

Basically, Scott -- like most of his GOPer buddies opposed to Obamacare -- is using scare tactics to keep people from enrolling into the Affordable Care Act by saying that these navigators will be handling personal information and who knows what will happen then... WILL OBAMA SELL YOUR KIDNEYS TO VLADIMIR PUTIN? HMMMM???

But there's a simple trick one can use to not be so scared. Namely, educate yourself.

Broward officials said they're doing all they can to educate the public about their options. Staff at the county libraries are prepared to help, the county administrator said. And materials will be distributed on county buses, Transportation Director Chris Walton said. In addition, a free series of educational seminars will run from Oct. 2 to Nov. 16, with information available on http://www.broward.org/library.

Meanwhile, there are almost 400,000 people in Broward who are either uninsured or underinsured.

But what's trying to get affordable health insurance for yourself and your loved ones compared to one of Obama's Navigator Agents who are going to ask you things about your health and then write them down? OOGGAAA BOOGAAAA!!
