The car involved in a nearly fatal hit and run Tuesday in Hollywood has been identified as an Oldsmobile Achieva by Hollywood police, who released the photo on the left in hopes of locating the driver.

According to the department's news release, the driver of the Achieva ran a stop sign at NW 57th Terrace and Thomas Street, right into the path of 22-year-old Crystal Garcia. She swerved but still struck the Achieva, and the collision caused Garcia's Ford Explorer to roll over, ejecting her and leaving her with life-threatening injuries. Her children, ages 3 and 4, were not hurt.

Police identified the Achieva based on a bumper that was knocked off in the collision and recovered at the scene.
