- On the same day that Broward County Commissioner Sue Gunzburger accused her opponent, Steve Geller, of a dirty campaign trick, Geller admitted having "a number of conversations" with Broward Sheriff Al Lamberti, whose office is investigating Gunzburger for corruption. - A Broward judge has denied bail for Wayne Treacy, the 15-year-old Deerfield Beach student accused of attempted murder in the near-death of Josie Lou Ratley at a school bus stop in March. [Miami Herald]
