Tiger Woods is the latest celebrity to get into the restaurant business.

The golf pro is opening the Woods Jupiter: Sports and Dining Club at Harbourside Place, a multi-use development project located at 200 U.S. Highway 1 in Jupiter. The ten-acre waterfront development includes the Wyndham Grand Jupiter hotel, office space, public and private marinas, and a 15,000-square-foot amphitheater.
In addition to Woods' restaurant, the complex will feature others, including Deep Blue Seafood Grille; BurgerFi; Bravo! Cucina Italiana; Another Broken Egg Cafe; Coffee Culture; Johnny Swirls Frozen Yogurt; and Too Bizaare restaurant.
Not much is known about the Woods Jupiter, since the restaurant is still in its initial planning phases. What we do know is that the original concept encompasses 5,900 square feet, which includes outdoor seating, and obviously, there will be a sporting theme combined with fine-dining elements. No word yet on a menu, chef, or how hands-on Woods will be on the project, although the celebrity golfer hints he may be a "regular" at his own restaurant, saying, "I envision a place where people can meet friends, watch sports on TV, and enjoy a great meal. I wanted to build it locally where I live and where it could help support the community."
Harbourside Place is scheduled to open to the public on October 15. A soft open and ribbon-cutting ceremony October 28 will be followed by a series of grand-opening events for the public in December. The Woods is expected to open during the first quarter of 2015.
