Around and around we go again. Today is the start to yet another lovely workweek. Hopefully, you have a bit of a spring in your step from some indulgent weekend activities. If not, don't fret, there's still plenty of events to keep you busy through your working days. Whether you're looking to be nice to your body through healthy food, give yourself up to gluttonous beer and cheese, or get your Oktoberfest celebrations underway, there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach Counties this week.

Monday

Ladies Who Lunch

Generally, ladies who lunch tend to be thought of as non-working trophy wives. Whether or not you fit into that box, lunch is always a nice break on a Monday. To keep you entertained Grey Matters Magazine -- yes, it is on the older side -- is hosting a luncheon with Cirque du Soleil performers at Vic & Angelo's Palm Beach Gardens on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Author Marni Spencer-Devlin will be speaking and signing books. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to breast cancer awareness. The cost to attend is $36 per person.

Some movies just make an impact on your life; a good breakfast should affect the quality of the rest of your daily routine. In honor of the great film and most important meal of the day, Whole Foods Market is hosting the third installment of the Breakfast Club on Monday from 11 a.m. to noon. For $5 per person, the "club" will be going over directions for Plant Strong, Health Starts Here approved recipes.

It is widely accepted that sharing is caring. It's even more so when it involves beer. If you're looking to get into a kind and thoughtful frame of mind, you should check out the bottle share at the Sybarite Pig on Tuesday at 7 p.m. All you have to do is bring a big bottle of you own or some money to throw in and you'll find yourself in a warmhearted beer geek kind of mood.

Cooking with Super Foods

Most of us want to be healthier. Whether we actually take the necessary steps is a whole other matter in and of itself. Here's your chance to at least learn to cook nutritious food at Publix Aprons Cooking School this Tuesday at 6 p.m. For $40 per person, guests will learn to prepare Chipotle Chili with Avocado Sour Cream; Kabocha-Quinoa Risotto with Sage Cashew Sauce; Black Bean, Chia and Hemp Patties; Acai Berry "Cheesecake" in this hands-on course.

Wednesday

Pink Ribbon Luncheon

Lunch is good all the time, but it's even better when its for a cause. On Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Woodfield Country Club is hosting its eighth annual Pink Ribbon Luncheon with Dr. Louise Morrell, medical director of The Lynn Cancer Institute in Boca Raton, community leaders, volunteers and breast cancer survivors at "New Choices, New Hope." The cost to attend is $135.

Wine Tasting

By midweek a glass of wine is probably in order -- a few more never hurt anyone. On Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., ABC Fine Wine and Spirits is hosting a tasting with more than 50 wines, spirits, and hors d'oeuvres. The cost to attend is $10, which includes a take home glass.

Thursday

DaDa Craft Bazaar

If you really want to narrow down the three most pleasurable activities in life it would probably be eating, drinking, and shopping - hey, you might have four, whatever. If you're looking to have an evening of pure indulgence - eating, drinking, and shopping, again - on Thursday from 7 to 11 p.m., DaDa Restaurant and Lounge is hosting its monthly DaDa Craft Bazaar. Local Vendors will be on-site selling their wares while the DaDa crew serves up its delicious mojitos and award-winning fare.

Oktoberfest Kickoff

Oktoberfest is a celebration that requires a bit of preparation. The American German Club of the Palm Beaches is pre-gaming the 40th Annual Oktoberfest on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Old School Square. The free event features two bands straight from Munich.

Mixology Class

If you haven't watched Cocktails and fantasized about becoming a bartender there's something seriously wrong with you. If you have, your chance to learn the ropes is here. On Thursday at 7 p.m., Thasos Greek Taverna is hosting a mixology class with Tequila Avion. Guests will get to learn to make perfectly mixed drinks while snacking on light bites.

The Cheese Course in Plantation is hosting a pairing of dairy and gluten -- hopefully, you can get in on the action. The event is free and open to the public.
