Congratulations, you made it through yet another working week. You might as well give yourself a pat on the back to celebrate -- or better yet, a drink or three.

Whether you are looking to party Irish style, like the idea of hanging out with pets at Funky Buddha, or just want to eat some free barbecue, there's something for you to do in South Florida this weekend.

5. St. Patrick's Day Weekend at the Dubliner Irish Pub in Mizner Park

To maximize drinking time, the Dubliner is hosting four-days of St. Paddy's Day parties. On Friday, Bounce is playing at 10 p.m. Saturday, Rogue Theory comes on at 10 pm., and Sunday it's Jason Cardinal at 10 p.m. On Monday, the Mizner Park block party commences with Uproot Hootenany, Living Daylights, and Rogue Theory with a classic Irish fiddler as well as Irish Bagpipers, the South Florida Irish Cloggers, DJ, and plenty of dancing. 4. St. Patrick's Day PAWTY Yappy Hour

While everyone else is out getting smashed like the Irish, you can spend your time helping homeless animals. From 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Funky Buddha Brewery is hosting a St. Paddy's themed yappy hour party to benefit No More Homeless Pets Fort Lauderdale. Wristbands are available for a $5 donation to the cause, which offers $1 off from Crazydilla Food Truck and $1 off all Buddha drafts. 3. Frontiers of Flavor

Few things are more relaxing than cooking a meal at-home on a Saturday night. For that, you kind of need to know how to cook. At 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Publix Aprons Cooking School in Plantation is inviting guests to explore dishes from across the world with its Frontiers of Flavor class. For $45 per person, attendees can hang out and watch demos of recipes from around South America. Reservations required. Call 954-577-7632.

2. Pi Day Celebration

You've seen the movie, and you definitely used it in geometry class. But, did you know that Friday is the international day of the mathematical constant π? Well, it is, and Whole Foods Marketin Coral Springs is celebrating with sweet and savory handheld pies from 3:14 to 8 p.m. Savory pies are available for $4.99, including steak Guinness, poireaux pomme de terre (leek and potato), and French onion with gruyere. 1.BBQ Friday

There's nothing like watching some flames rising above chunks of meat to get you ready for the weekend. And, you can't compete with free. On Friday night, starting at 6 p.m., C&I Studios is cooking up complimentary burgers and hot dogs for anyone looking to kick back and relax on a Friday night.
