We'd blame it on the holidays, the high stress of spending too much money, and the exhaustion of running around from party to party, but realistically, that's just life.

Between work and taking care of the kids/pets/house/whatever most of us just feel like we need a break, like, now.

And Mondays... Mondays are kind of the worst.

Now Butcher Block Grill in Boca Raton is offering a deal for the start of the workweek with ethically sourced Creekstone Farms beef.

While Mondays tend to be the day to find great deals on burgers and all other kinds of dishes, for the most part, you're not getting anything sourced from ethical purveyors who focus on serving high-quality ingredients -- unless, you get a veggie burger, of course.

Every Monday from 5 to 10 p.m., 'the steakhouse with a conscience' is offering Creekstone Farms prime rib and house made roasted garlic asiago mashed potatoes with au jus and horseradish sauce for $20 per person.

During the growing season, the restaurant works with 14 South Florida farms, including Farmer Jay's Organics, Swank Specialty Produce, Heritage Hen Farms, Green Cay, Farmhouse Tomatoes, Piero Farms, and Palmetto Creek.

"We combine all natural ingredients with a unique fusion of Mediterranean flavors and American steakhouse classics to create a memorable and healthy dining experience," said managing partner Mike Zikri.
