Well, summer might be well on its way, but it's looking like we're going to have a pretty awesome weekend in terms of weather. Time to enjoy it while you still can. If you're looking for things to do indoors or out, we have a list of five food and drink related events after the jump.

5. Friday BBQ

If you're looking to relive your college days and get in on some free food on Friday, C&I Studios is holding a Friday night barbecue from 6 to 8 pm. Held in conjunction with Exposed PR, the event will feature free hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers. Booze is BYO. Bud Lite and the Riverside Market will be sponsoring flip a cup and beer pong. 4. Mother's Day

After carrying you around for nine-months, the woman had to push you out of the womb. Show some appreciation by taking mom out for her yearly day of glory on Sunday May 12. Casa D'Angelo is offering classic specialty dishes to commemorate the occasion at both the locations starting at 4 pm in Fort Lauderdale and 5:30 pm in Boca Raton. Da Campo Osteria is holding a prix fixe lunch from 11 am to 3 pm. For $58 per adult, $15 per child, the restaurant will be offering a number of stations. The Grateful Palate is featuring an a la carte lunch to celebrate mom, from 11 am to 3 pm.

3. Let's Get Weird--Jinx Remover

For those who want to get weird, or just look at some weird art, Laser Wolf is hosting a show for screen printing artist Jinx Remover Friday night starting at 9 pm. As per usual, the spot will also feature copious amounts of craft beer. Laser Wolf is located at 901 Progresso Dr. in Fort Lauderdale. Call (954) 667-9373.

2. 'Surf Into Summer' Charity Concert

While you would normally associate surf concerts with, well, the beach, residents of the great west get a beach-inspired concert of their own on Saturday Night. To benefit the Education Foundation and Achievement Centers, Rapoport's Restaurant Group is hosting 'Surf Into Summer' from 7 to 10 pm. The Surf City All Stars with original Beach Boy David Marks will be performing, while Chefs from the restaurant group prepare some light bites. General Admission tickets are $30, upfront premium tickets are $60, and VIP with cocktail reception are $100. The show is being held at the Delray Beach Marketplace near the new Burt & Max's. The center is located at 9025 W. Atlantic Blvd. in Delray Beach.

1. Due South One Year Anniversary

In case you haven't heard, American Craft Beer week starts Monday, meaning you have a perfectly good excuse to drinks liter upon liter of beer. Well, if you're looking to get started a day early, Due South Brewery is giving you another great reason to party. It's hosting a party on Sunday from 2 to 10 pm. The brewery will feature its own creations, as well as some taps from other Florida breweries. A couple food trucks will also be on site. Due South is located at 2900 High Ridge Rd. in Boynton Beach.
