Weekdays are the worst, unless you live in South Florida where we refuse to let a moment go by without cramming it full of entertainment.
Whether you're looking to relax and recover from the weekend, or would prefer to fill your weekday evening with distracting doings, there's something for you to do in Broward and Palm Beach counties this week.

Monday
Join Anthony Francis, Tony Rivera, and other members of the Sick Puppies Comedy improv troupe at Hurricane Grill & Wings as they show you the basics of Improv 101. Because who doesn't like their wings with a side of improvisational comedy? What's more if while imbibing and gorging on flocks of wings, you will have the opportunity to get on stage yourself as this improv is open mic and educational. Rather than a "come on stage and tell your jokes" type set, participants will have the opportunity to join in improv games. Think "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" except the answer is, "You. It's your line. quick, say something funny." Or just hide behind your pile of discarded wings and enjoy the comedy.
Tuesday
Extremely Rare Tapping of Bruery Kegs at Tap 42
Broward's upscale beer bar and food hangout Tap 42 will host one of the season's most interesting tap takeovers: six rare beers from indomitable barrel-agers the Bruery. The Bruery produces relatively small batches of beer. Offerings include How about kegs of Chocolate Rain, White Chocolate, Melange #3, Filmishmish, Bottleworks XII, and Mischief (a hoppy/dry Belgian-style strong ale). -- Doug Fairall
Wednesday
Get a taste of the Greek Isles at Bistro Ten Zero One on Wedneday for their monthly garden party. Chef Chris DeGweck will grill in the garden where guests can enjoy a menu of Greek delights and live music while he prepares their food, including pork souvlaki, chicken kebabs, and bbq leg of lamb with souvlaki. It's $10 for drinks only, $20 for food only, and $30 food and drink.
Ladies are always the ones who get to party (and get drunk) for free. So what's a guy to do when he wants to hang with the boys, watch football, and crush empty beer cans with his forehead? Drink all the booze he wants for $5 at the Speakeasy Lounge's Mantastic Wednesdays while enjoying dude flicks. There's also all-you-can-drink wells from 8 to 11 p.m. -- By Laurie Charles
Thursday
Art After Dark is a diverse collection of art, including film, dance, music, DIY projects, winetastings, lectures, and fine dining at the Norton Museum. While you're there, check out the rest of the museum's collection of special exhibitions to holidays as well as to historical and cultural landmark dates, including contemporary collections from China, America, and Europe. Food and beverages are served from the museum's café, Fratelli Lyon, which offers an à la carte dinner menu. -- By Dave Minsky
