It's lunchtime and you're starving, but as a public service, we're imploring you to put down those Lunchables you stole from your kid's lunchbox and order something a little fresher -- like a sandwich or salad from Max's Harvest.

Yes, you thought Max's Harvest wasn't open for lunch, and technically it's not. But the

award-winning farm-to-fork restaurant has just teamed with the Delivery Dudes to bring you a healthier and tastier brown-bag lunch, delivered to you (lunch is not available at the restaurant). Lunch delivery will be available from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and will feature a rotating selection of three sandwiches and salads, with the menu changing regularly.

Current lunch-menu items include a ham and Brie sandwich with Palmetto Creek Farms ham, warm Brie, fig jam, arugula, and house-made mustard on a French baguette ($15); a free-range chicken Milanese sandwich with garlicky broccolini, asiago aioli, and pickled peppers on a toasted ciabatta ($15); and a BELT (bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato) sandwich for $14.

Lunch salad choices include a Harvest chicken salad with grilled FreeBird chicken breast, Harvest mixed lettuces, grape tomato, avocado, apples, almond, raisins, corn, and goat cheese with champagne vinaigrette ($17); a king salmon niçoise with grilled troll-caught Alaskan king salmon, Harvest mixed lettuces, potatoes, green beans, hard cooked egg, tomato, red onion, and marinated olives with a lemon-herb dressing ($19); and a high-protein grain salad with harvest greens, garbanzo beans, toasted pumpkin seeds, organic quinoa, raw almonds, carrots, raisins, and fresh corn with sherry vinaigrette ($15).

Order your lunch through Delivery Dudes at deliverydudes.com or call 561-900-7060. The "Dudes" will deliver your brown-bag lunch to Delray Beach, South Boynton, and North Boca but will not deliver west of Military Trail, south of Yamato, or North of Gulf Road. The delivery fee is $5 for cash or $7 for credit cards.

Dinner will also be available for delivery from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, dinner is available for delivery from 5 to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m.
