Finally, it's happening. This weekend, Manny Pacquiao will be facing boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Why did this match take so long? No one really knows. But it doesn't matter: The breakthrough moment finally happened a few months ago, when the two fighters met — yes, world, South Florida says "you're welcome" — at a Miami Heat basketball game on January 27.

Now, thanks to that magic meeting in the Magic City, the real deal is now being hailed as the "Fight of The Century," and thousands of fans have indeed been waiting years for a bout between these pound-for-pound titans – generally regarded as the best boxers in the world.

According to WalletHub — a one-stop destination for all the tools and information consumers and small-business owners need to make better financial decisions and save money — 61 percent of experts believe Mayweather will win. There is expected to be more than $74 million in ticket sales revenue at the 15,000-seat MGM Grand Garden Arena. Domestic pay-per-view revenue is estimated to gross somewhere around $300 million. And Tecate bid $5.6 million to be the official beer for the fight, topping Corona’s $5.2 million bid.

To celebrate this historic event, a number of Broward and Palm Beach bars and restaurants will host their own fight-night party on Saturday, May 2. Sure, you can stay at home and watch Pacquaio and Mayweather duke it out from the comfort of your own couch — but what fun is that?
