Counting down the hours until Friday even though it's only Tuesday?

Yeah, we've all been there.

While you can't make the next four days disappear as quickly as the #KylieJennerLipChallenge faded into obscurity, there is one thing that will make the next 96 hours fly by: music.

But not just any music — we're talking about the best tuneage across South Florida. So get your lips out of that suction cup and hit up this week's five best music events. We guarantee they won't leave you looking like a fish that OD'd on collagen.

Of Mice & Men.
We're all part of a "Broken Generation." That's why Orange County's metalcore crew, Of Mice & Men want you to put down those damned cellphones. As guitarist Phil Manansala told New Times in a recent interview, the Southern Cali rock band wants you to "put aside [your] devices and live in the real world." Or in the Of Mice & Men world for the night, at least.

With Crown the Empire and Volumes. Tuesday, April 28, 6:30 p.m. Revolution Live, 100 SW 3rd Ave., Fort Lauderdale; 954-449-1025; jointherevolution.net. Tickets cost $21 plus fees via ticketmaster.com

SunFest 2015.
Experience "the fury, the beauty, the ridiculous, and the sublime" of the Pixies as one of the greatest American rock bands join Lenny Kravitz, Boston, and other music legends at this year's SunFest for five days of mind-blowing music.

Wednesday to Sunday, April 29 to May 3. Downtown West Palm Beach, on Flagler Drive from Banyan Boulevard to Lakeview Drive. Ticket prices vary. A five-day pass is $70 in advance and $80 at the gate. A one-day ticket is $32 in advance and $40 at the gate. Kids under 5 are admitted free; kids 6 to 12 cost $10 in advance and $12 at the gate. Visit sunfest.com

Hollywood Undead.
"West Coast, beach bum, gangsta shit." That's just how LA's Hollywood Undead rolls. And this week, the "masked rap-rock, genre-blending six-some" will be joining their loyal H.U. SoFla army at Revolution.

With Cane Hill. Thursday, April 30, 7 p.m. Revolution Live, 100 SW 3 Ave., Fort Lauderdale; 954-449-1025; jointherevolution.net. Tickets cost $21.50 plus fees via ticketmaster.com.
