Around and around we go; today is the start to yet another lovely workweek. Hopefully, you have a bit of a spring in your step from some indulgent weekend activities. If not, don't fret; there are still plenty of events to keep you busy through your working days.

Whether you're looking to celebrate American Craft Beer Week, visit a new brewery, or want to "wine down" on Wednesday, there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach counties this week.

Monday

Copperpoint Brewing Co. Opening
New Boynton Beach brewery, Copperpoint Brewing Co. (151 Commerce Drive, Boynton Beach), will be open to the public starting Monday, May 11. The brewery hours are Monday through Thursday from noon to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from noon to 11 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. Visit copperpointbrewingcompany.com.

Growler Release at Saltwater Brewing
May 11 through 17 is American Craft beer week. To celebrate, Saltwater Brewing Co. in Delray Beach will be releasing a number of specialty brews available for growler fills throughout the week, starting Monday, May 11. Special fills are limited to that designated day only, and until supplies last. Growler sales are available all day, from open to close.

Drink Like a Local: Specialty Edition
To celebrate American Craft Beer Week, Riverside Market in Fort Lauderdale will be hosting a special edition of their "Drink Like A Local" nights on Monday, May 11 starting at 6 p.m. The evening will feature a tap takeover and bottle release party featuring several local craft breweries including Due South Brewing Co.'s Barrel Aged Mexican Standoff, Hopicana, Olympus Mons, and Northern Exposure; Funky Buddha's More Moro, Wide Awake Imperial maple bacon coffee porter; and Wynwood Brewing's La Rubia, MIA Weiss, MIA IPA. Riverside Market will also be offering bottles of Funky Buddha Last Snow while supplies last, as well as a few other specialty releases.

Tasting Menu at Off the Hook Seafood
New Boca Raton restaurant, Off The Hook Seafood, will be offering a special tasting menu on Monday, May 11. The dinner, served family style, will be $35 per person, and will include popcorn shrimp parmesan, conch fritters, baked clams, shrimp cappuccino (shrimp bisque), lobster ravioli, grilled mahi, and more. The tasting menu will be served at 6:30 p.m. Off The Hook Seafood is located at 1956 NE 5th Ave.,

Tuesday

Twisted Trunk Brewing Craft Beer Week
The new Palm Beach Gardens brewery, Twisted Trunk (2000 PGA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens), will kick off American Craft Beer Week by tapping its Imperial Saison aged on American Oak and Citra Hops. Special kegs and casks will be released each day of the week starting at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12. 

Growing Broward Elections Meeting
Growing Broward, a local non-profit food system cooperative, is ready to take the next step in its organizational structure. On Tuesday, May 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the group will hold a special elections session to appoint a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. The event will take place at the Urban Farming Institute (1101 NE 40th Court, Oakland Park). Supporters who are interested in being a part of the mission are encouraged to attend to help take the next step in assembling the leadership structure needed to develop, advocate, and create a local, sustainable food system in Broward County. Wednesday

Native Lager Pint Night
In celebration of American Craft Beer Week, join Fort Lauderdale's Craft Beer Cartel on Wednesday, May 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. for a sampling of Native's small batch brews. Purchasing a pint glass for $5 entitles you to a sample of each of the brew pub's latest creations including its infamous scotch ale aged in both Palm Ridge whiskey and rye barrels, the Seed Spitter Watermelon wheat, the black cherry Imperial IPA, and more.

Wine Scene Mix & Mingle
The group known as YES! — or Young Executives for Success of the Palm Beaches — as it kicks off a new series of networking and volunteer events for young female professionals in Palm Beach County to benefit Dress for Success Palm Beaches. Join Wine Scene (501 Fern Street St., #104, West Palm Beach) for its first "Mix and Mingle" event to learn more about YES!, and meet other local young professional women. Tickets are $10 and include one glass of wine. Additional wine and appetizers will be available for purchase during the event. Make sure to bring your business cards with you to mixing and mingling. The event takes place from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Wine Down Wednesday at Whole Foods Market (Davie)
A glass of chilled, refreshing rosé is perfect when the temperatures start to climb. This pink-hued wine is having a major moment. Join the Whole Foods for a guided tasting and light bites at the store's in house bar, The Watering Hole. Space is limited, pre-registration is required. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Order tickets via Eventbrite.

Thursday

Funky Buddha Craft Beer Week
American Craft Beer Week will be celebrated at Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park starting Thursday, May 14, with a series of special beer releases. Starting Thursday, the brewery will be tapping Last Snow, Golden Stout, Sour'd the Duck Berliner, and a raspberry margarita gose.

BBQ Tasting at Whole Foods Market (Pompano Beach)
Join Whole Foods Pompano Beach for a BBQ fiesta. On Thursday, May 14, each team will be preparing a BBQ inspired dish for sampling store-wide. Vote for your favorite tasting and be entered to win a $25 Whole Foods Market gift card.
