The New Times' 18th Annual "Original" Beerfest, presented by Isle Casino, returns on Saturday, October 10, to Esplanade Park in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

The fun starts at 7 p.m. (6 p.m. for VIP and Brewmaster ticketholders), with plenty of suds, music and fun.

In case the draw of sampling over 100 different beers isn't enough for you, Beerfest is now the ultimate watch party for this week's UM FSU game.

On Saturday at 8 p.m., the University of Miami takes on Florida State University, and you'll be able to watch the game live. Chris Wyttingham from 790 AM the Ticket will serve as emcee, with ongoing commentary of the game. Plus, you know — all the beer you want is within arm's reach.

You can also watch the Miss Beerfest competition when the talented finalists take to the stage to perform beer-related feats of daring-do like hoisting the boot. Our finalists are:

Miss Blondis
Hailing from her native Russia, this internationally published pin-up model now lives in Miami Beach.Miss Blondis started her pin-up career in 2009 as part of a burlesque-cabaret in Russia, becoming an expert in retro styles. Miss Blondis is also a bartender.

Cassandra C.
Originally from Ohio, Cassandra C. feels she's the ultimate Miss Beerfest candidate. "I'm not like a lot of girls that complain at the thought of drinking a beer," says Cassandra. "In fact, if given the choice, I will always choose a beer over a fruity mixed drink or cocktail." Her hobbies include dancing, playing music, and the going to the beach — always with a cooler of ice cold beer.

Angela LaMuse
Canadian Angela LaMuse is a professional burlesque artist and pin-up model. She's been seen on Canada's Got Talent, where comedian Martin Short said of her burlesque, "You do this art-form brilliantly!" She has also performed for celebrities such as Ron Perlman, Milo Ventimiglia, and Jennifer Blanc. Her influences are Betty Page, Rita Hayworth, and Marilyn Monroe. When not performing, Angela likes dancing, retro and alternative fashion, cooking for friends, and beach days.

Kim King
Kim King is a freelance model and a charming, upbeat personality. Her passions are modeling, spokes-modeling, promos, concerts, print work, websites, acting, videos, and hosting.

Leah B.
Leah is a native Floridian with a passion for "mouthgasmic" food and craft beer.  "I started in the scene about five years ago when World of Beer opened in Coconut Creek and my life was changed," says Leah. "My first craft beer was a Young's Double Chocolate Stout followed by a Tucher. Since then I've gotten to watch as our amazing South Florida craft beer scene has exploded!"
