From an amuse-bouche to the sweet finale, we've compiled some of the area's best dining-out deals and options for Valentine's Day 2016 in Broward and Palm Beach:

Palm Beach County Valentine's Day Dinners

For Valentine's Day, Brandon's — the main restaurant at the Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa in Palm Beach — will be offering a variety of special menu items reserved exclusively for this holiday weekend. Available from Friday, February 12, through Sunday, February 14, Brandon's three-course prix fixe Valentine's menu showcases items such as beet-cured salmon, grilled bronzini, white truffle pappardelle, and warm almond pound cake. The cost is $70 per person.

Prosecco Cafe

Lovers looking for a Valentine's Day hot spot that's both romantic and off the beaten path will find themselves in good company at Prosecco Café. Executive chef Dwayne Bell has created a special four-course "Cupid's Duet" menu designed to fulfill every gastronomic desire. That means choices from start to finish that include lobster bisque, salmon rigatoni, and six-hour braised short rib. Desserts are meant for sharing this night, including a Dolce Passione Cioccolato (white chocolate passion fruit cheesecake with ginger cracker crust). The price is $39.95 per person. Reservations are recommended. The Valentine's Day dinner menu is available 5 to 10 p.m.

Pistache French Bistro

Whether you're celebrating love or celebrating your love for the single life, Pistache French Bistro has something in store for you this Valentine's Day. Sensual Parisian décor, aphrodisiac-inspired dishes, cocktails, and a kissing booth make this the place to fall in love this holiday. On Sunday, February 14, Pistache will offer a three-course Valentine's Day brunch menu with a complimentary mimosa, bellini, or bloody mary, priced at $50 per person, as well as a three-course special dinner menu for S75 per person. Dishes include a salmon tartare with cilantro, avocado mousse, grapefruit, ginger oil, pickled shiitake, lemon aioli, and brioche croutons; zucchini blossom beignets with bay scallops, Boursin, tomato compote, and pesto; Burgundy escargots in lemon garlic butter; and moules frites, Prince Edward Island mussels steamed in white wine-garlic-shallot broth and served with pommes frites. And for dessert, good luck deciding between the brioche bread pudding with rum, raisins served with crème anglaise, or dark chocolate ganache cake with raspberry coulis.

Meat Market, Lincoln Road’s sizzling hot steakhouse with a second location in Palm Beach, is getting into the spirit of Valentine’s Day with some special touches, including a rose giveaway for the ladies as they walk through the door and MM chocolates for couples at their end of their meal. The restaurant will be offering their regular lunch and dinner menu save for a few romantic additions, such as "His & Hers" specialty cocktails and Lanson Pink Rose Champagne to mark the occasion. Lunch ends at 3:30 p.m. and dinner begins at 6 p.m.

At Emko in West Palm Beach, you can celebrate Valentine's Day all day long with a special V-Day-themed brunch served from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., or dinner menu prepared just for the holiday served from 5 to 10 p.m. Start the day with specialty cocktails like the Sienna, a combination of rye, cognac, china-china orange liqueur, and vermouth. Pair that with a cheese board, golden beet soup, or lemon ricotta pancakes. Come the evening, a four-course meal begins with an oyster shooter, followed by two light courses featuring Swank Farms produce. A third course highlights rabbit thigh and saddle with braised fennel, pumpkin puree, and hedgehog mushrooms; or halibut with zucchini fritters. Top it off with dessert made by the in-house pastry chef, a Valrhona dark chocolate cake with strawberry inclusion, lavender dark chocolate mousse, and bubble sugar garnish topped with salted chocolate sauce.

Avocado Grill

On Valentine's Day, you can enjoy farm-to-table fare at Avocado Grill's award-winning Sunday brunch featuring special Valentine's Day-themed offerings from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Beginning at 4:30 p.m, guests can enjoy a prix fixe menu for $59 each. Served until 10 p.m., these culinary creations include a complimentary glass of champagne. At the end, indulge and share  the restaurant's "Passionate Embrace" (the edible kind) over any dessert from Avocado Grill's extensive list, including a ginger lime créme brulee; nutella avocado mousse with espresso whipped cream and carmelized hazelnuts; passion fruit tiramisu; cinnamon white chocolate bread pudding with pina colada sauce, peanut butter chocolate macadamia brownie; or fresh berries and whipped cream. Reservations are recommended through OpenTable.com.

Ah, Valentine’s Day. How about "The $75-Set-Menu Day" instead? For those hoping to spend less this year and still enjoy a night out, visit Grease Burger, Beer & Whiskey Bar on Clematis Street. The entire menu will be offered a la carte along with a delicious Brie Mine Burger, a 10 oz. Brie-stuffed burger topped with homemade apple walnut chutney. For dessert, dive into a mammoth slice of double-stacked chocolate cake. Grease also features a huge craft beer list with over 130 selections by the bottle and on tap, more than 110 whiskeys and bourbons including their own house-made whiskey, and a craft cocktail menu. In honor of the premiere showing of "How to Be Single," featuring Dakota Johnson and Rebel Wilson, Bogart's — the American restaurant above the Cinemark theater in Boca Raton — will be hosting a special (and non-mushy) Cupid Is Stupid event from 5 to 7 p.m. in the building's south banquet room for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. For $15 per person, you'll receive passed appetizers and one specialty cocktail or wine. Additional drinks will be on special for $6 each. If you love beer as much as you love your sweetheart, Tap 42 is hosting a three-course Valentine's Day beer dinner at its Boca Raton location in the Town Center. Starting at 7 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, guests can enjoy a special meal that includes butternut squash risotto and scallops paired with Three Fates; a surf and turf dish paired with Parade of Souls; and a milk chocolate parfait for two paid with a cherry chocolate quad. Single? Looking to mingle? Or just that couple that doesn't need anything super cheesy or sappy romantic? Then check out City Oyster & Sushi Bar in Delray Beach, one of the few restaurants inviting guests to indulge in a special dinner for two (or a night out with friends) on Valentine's Day. Start your culinary journey with the Double Dragon roll featuring shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, seaweed salad, and cucumber, topped with half avocado and half tuna, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. Then dive into main courses from executive chef Dennis Teixeira including a pasta bolognese made with beef, pork and veal, baked al forno with fresh mozzarella, and the Moroccan spiced grouper with cous cous veggie salad made with pine nuts, raisins, Sicilian olives, and salsa verde. Cozy up to your sweetie at City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill this Valentine's Day executive chef Kevin Darr will be serving his a la carte menu along with a variety of delicious specials including Grilled Wagyu NY Strip, lobster risotto, organic mache, roasted shallot agro dolce, Pan Seared Halibut, butternut squash puree, sautéed Chinese broccoli, pistachio beurre blanc and Housemade Fresh Sweet Corn Gnocchi, cellar bacon, rock shrimp, local heirloom tomatoes, opal basil ($30). General Manager Michael "Iggy" Ignatowicz will also be on hand offering pairing suggestions from the restaurant’s award-winning wine list with more than 400 wines by the bottle, half bottle, glass and flight, including some great values. The signature oceanfront restaurant at the award-winning Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa will host an Evening of Romance this Valentine’s Day. Priced at $95 per person, guests will enjoy a four-course dinner menu including an amuse bouche of Goat Cheese Croquette with raspberry coulis. First course selections include Chilled Lobster Cocktail with tarragon aioli, tomato jam and cucumber carpaccio; Seared Scallops with butternut squash puree, vanilla rum butter and banana chutney; and Coriander Crusted Yellowfin Tuna with yuzu, soy, pickled daikon, and mung bean sprouts. From 5 to 10 p.m., guests can enjoy the restaurant's modern, coastal-inspired fare with a menu that includes tomato water gazpacho, Kusshi oysters three ways, beet salad, diver scallops, wild boar tenderloin, and sea bass or Seminole beef filet mignon. Wild Sea Oyster Bar & Grille

Kuro, the renowned Japanese restaurant located inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, intends to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with a variety of specials showcasing unique ingredients and harmonious flavors. Offered during dinner service Friday, February 12 through Sunday, February 14, the holiday specials include seared scallops with daikon nanban sauce and wasabi salsa; stone crab claws chilled with sauces or tempura with karashi su miso and shiso aioli; tuna tartar with avocado and caviar; and a "chocolate-covered strawberry" comprised of chocolate mousse, strawberry mousse, strawberry glacage, yuzu gelee, kinako marshmallow, and brownie.

Indigo

Indigo, a neighborhood staple of Las Olas Boulevard, is embracing the spirit of Valentine's Day with "Love Songs," a $100 prix fixe menu for couples or individual a la carte. In addition, guests will also receive the restaurant’s "Heart Shaped Box," a complimentary trio of handcrafted chocolates for every couple who purchases the prix fixe dinner. Menu includes duck and waffles, beef Wellington, and heart-shaped beef kabobs.

Fresh Harvest

Fresh Harvest — one of six dining options at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek — recently underwent an extensive upgrade and culinary refinement including décor inspired by an outdoor garden party, featuring a modern rustic look with natural light, warm colors, chalkboard signage, copper accents, and granite countertops. It's the perfect setting for Valentine's Day brunch available from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., which will feature a special menu prepared by executive chef Stephen Collins including braised short ribs, truffle mushroom risotto, salmon benedict, strawberry cream stuffed French toast, peanut-banana pancakes, chilled seafood selections, and assorted sushi. The cost is $35 per person, and includes endless mimosas and sparkling wine (as well as one pound of crab legs).

When it comes to Valentine's Day, who doesn't love a good surf and turf? First introduced in the 1960's as a way for the Maine lobster industry to market lobster tails, surf and turf has always been an easy way to double your dining out pleasure — especially for couples on Valentine's Day. If that sounds good, Bonefish Grill locations are offering a special to fall in love with: a 6-ounce filet mignon and lobster stuffed shrimp for $26 per person available Thursday, February 11 through Sunday, February 14. The dish is served with mashed potatoes, blistered tomatoes, and marsala sauce alongside three lobster stuffed shrimp on a bed of creamed spinach.

The Westin Fort Lauderdale

The Westin Fort Lauderdale is celebrating love on Valentine's Day with a romantic dinner at Alfiere's Mediterranean Bistro. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a flute of sparkling wine and a classic amuse bouche of Serrano ham and melon. For dinner, guests will have a choice of soup, salad, entrée, and dessert. Dishes include a heart-shaped ravioli, chilled cucumber soup, pan seared salmon, and créme caramel mousse with rose syrup. The cost is $45 per person. Call for reservations.

Diplomat Resort and Spa

On the beach and across the street from fishing charters, this upscale resort boast a high-end steakhouse that's perfect for Valentine's Day dinner. This year, executive chef Gary Klinefelter has prepared a pre-fixe menu for couples celebrating the big V-Day. A main highlight: a decadent lobster risotto flavor-enriched with a 48-day, dry-aged striploin. You can finish the meal on a sweet note with a white chocolate heart dessert featuring a Grand Marnier and raspberry macaroon. Three seating times are available on both Saturday and Sunday, February 13-14, beginning at 5 p.m. The cost is $150 per person, followed by 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. options at $175 per person.

Tony Roma's

This chain steak and seafood chain is best known for its ribs, but on Valentine's Day (a special menu served February 9-14) it will be known for its affordable $60 special. That's the price for a dinner for two, which includes a choice of filet medallions, grilled salmon or baby back ribs. Each guest also receives a house salad and red velvet cake or the restaurant's signature Raspberry Brownie Royale for dessert.

Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa

Set on the ocean of Pompano Beach, touted by TripAdvisor as a “destination on the rise”, the boutique-style Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa will serve up an exquisite Valentine’s Day Dinner at the renowned McCoy’s Oceanfront. On February 14 from 5 to 10 p.m., diners will enjoy a five-course dinner menu. Selections include an amuse bouche of bacon and Boursin cheese stuffed oysters followed by a radicchio and mescaline salad with candied almonds, gorgonzola, roasted peppers, and a passion fruit vinaigrette; purple cauliflower bisque; pecan-crusted red fish with heart shaped rice cake, beat puree, and roasted pepper coulis; Grilled Skirt Steak with exotic mushrooms, hummus, asparagus and tropical chimichurri; and homemade mixed berry bread pudding with white chocolate drizzle. Hardy Park Bistro is making Valentine’s Day easy for guests this year. No need to make reservations or stress about plans. This year, Hardy Park’s Valentine’s Day meal will offer an array of amazing dishes in a romantic, cozy environment with an intimate a la carte dinner hosted by husband-and-wife owners and chef duo Phillip and Jessica Darmon. Special holiday menu items include a twist on the traditional with fresh burrata served alongside roasted carrots, braised lamb shank with parsnip puree, grilled pork belly with crisp pigs ear; crispy skinned salmon with Belgian endive, and more. 

Brimstone Woodfire Grill

This Valentine's Day weekend, Brimstone Woodfire Grill in Pembroke Pines will be serving a three-course dinner menu — as well as two specialty cocktails. The restaurant's holiday menu, available from Friday, February 12 through Sunday, February 14, will include a seafood sampler platter for two featuring baked scallops casino, cocktail shrimp and crab boniato served with remoulade sauce; a choice of two main entrees including a 12-ounce bone-in filet mignon with a marsala wild mushroom ragout; and stuffed jumbo shrimp with seafood mousse accompanied by Parmesan truffle mashed potatoes, candied lemon haricot verts, and a vanilla butter sauce. Don't forget dessert: a trio of chocolate will complete the meal with a Swiss Roll sponge cake stuffed with mascarpone Nutella, white chocolate Amaretto pecan mousse, and a duo of chocolate covered strawberries. Two festive cocktails will also be available for the weekend, including the Champagne-tini featuring a choice of Sky vodka flavors and Wycliff Champagne.

Begin your meal with aphrodisiac oysters on the half-shell ($15 per half-dozen), then move on to the Baked Lemon Sole and crab stuffing with asparagus and Béarnaise sauce or chateaubriand for two with mushroom demi glaze and gratin potatoes. End your night on a sweet note by indulging in the chef's signature molten chocolate cake with port wine and raspberries or chocolate mousse and berry parfait.

In addition to their delicious a la carte menu, Steak 954 will be offering specials prepared by executive chef Nicolay Adinaguev, including fluke crudo with satsuma orange, pickled fresnos, sea salt, and extra virgin olive oil to start. Entree specials include petite filet and Maine lobster surf and turf with sauce Bordelaise, and grilled lemon as well as butter poached pompano with verjus, watercress, and grapes.
