Growler Tapping - Funky Buddha Maple Bacon Coffee Porter
Total Wine & More (2564 N. University Drive, Coral Springs) will allow guests to fill 32-ounce growlers with Funky Buddha's Maple Bacon Coffee Porter. Samples of Floridian Hefeweizen, Hop Gun, and Nib Smuggler will also be available. This event starts at 4 p.m. Visit TotalWine.com.

Old Town Untapped
Bailey Contemporary Arts (41 NE First St., Pompano Beach) will not only be hosting live music but free beer tastings from 26 Degree Brewing Co., Bangin' Banjo Brewing Co., and Odd Breed Wild Ales. The event is free and features music from the Coppertones and Octo Gatos. This is from 6 to 9 p.m. Visit baileyarts.org.

Cuisines and Poetry

Cuisines and Poetry will allow participants to share their poetry, music, and more. Hosted at Midtown Art Gallery (1033 Sistrunk Blvd., Fort Lauderdale), different ethnic food is featured per month. Admission is $10 for two people before 9 p.m. and $10 per person after 9. Food costs $10 a plate. Visit their Facebook page. This recurring event is the first Friday of every month.

Library Foundation's Literary Feast
The Broward County Main Library (100 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale) is celebrating its 28th year of the Library Foundation's Literary Feast. Here, attendees can meet guest authors through cocktails and dinner. 6 p.m. marks the start of the open bar, appetizers, books sales, and signings. At 7:30 p.m., dinners will take place at private restaurants and homes. Launch of Grato Brunch

Meditation & Microbrews: Achieve a Balanced Buzz

Craft Beer Cartel (557 SW 12th Ave., Fort Lauderdale) will feature a beginner's guided meditation and mindfulness class taught by Shelly Tygielski. Following is a craft-beer tasting. Burger Bar's Sandwich of the Week
Burger Bar (4650 Donald Ross Road, Palm Beach Gardens) will offer its salmon BLT as its Burger of the Week.
