The Corroboree at Hardy Park Bistro
Hardy Park Bistro (21 SW Seventh St., Fort Lauderdale) will serve a five-course Australian dinner paired with Australian wines from Stacole. Dishes include Australian beef tartar, shrimp on the "barbie," barramundi, kangaroo, mesclun greens, and pavlova. Wine Down Wednesdays

Wine and Truffles Dinner
Meat Market Palm Beach (191 Bradley Pl., Palm Beach) will host a four-course dinner made with truffles and paired with wines from Inglenook Winery of Napa Valley. Courses include white truffle with foie gras, wood grilled wahoo, clear creek farms Wagyu sirloin, and goat cheese bavarois. The dinner costs $150 and starts at 7 p.m. Reservations are limited. Rocco's Spirited Tacos, Tequila + TaTas
Rocco's Tacos (1313 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) is in cahoots with Glam-a-Thon for a breast cancer awareness event. There will be a raffle, an auction, signature MargariTaTas, and more. A $20 donation will get guests a MargariTaTa, tacos, and two raffle tickets. A $40 donation provides a MargariTaTa, tacos, 25 tickets for the penny social, and a breast cancer wristband. National Drink Beer and Eat Bacon Day
Funky Buddha Brewery (1201 NE 38th St., Oakland Park) will be celebrating National Drink Beer Day by featuring a flight of four beers and four strips of housemade candied bacon. Pairings include Sweet Potato Casserole Treatment with pumpkin-spiced candied bacon, Maple Bacon Coffee Porter with cinnamon molasses candied bacon, Mango/Papaya Hop Gun IPA with habanero lime candied bacon, and another beer (TBD) with chocolate chili flake candied bacon. A Bourbon Affair/Ladies Night

Five-Course Sake Dinner at Kuro
Kuro (Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, One Seminole Way, Hollywood) will serve a five-course dinner paired with a sampling of sake selections. Guest speaker and sake expert Midori Roth will present these samples. Courses include salmon, kinmedai, katsuo tataki, wahoo nitsuke, scallop tempura, Wagyu robata, and yuzu mochi. Tickets are $175. Oktoberfest at Due South
Due South Brewing (2900 High Ridge Rd. #3, Boynton Beach) will say prost starting this week with their Oktoberfest. Beers include What the Hef? hefeweizen, Isle of MaGourdo pumpkin ale, and Oktoberfest marzen lager, among other special and limited releases. Guests can also purchase a half-liter Due South stein with a pour of Oktoberfest for only $10. What the Hef? cans will also be available for purchase. National Coffee Day

Croquetesa Burger at Pincho Factory
