http://www.myspace.com/DudesBarFl The name may be slightly ambiguous, suggesting that perhaps the spot is a dwelling place for sandy stoners, but the first thing you'll see upon entering Dudes is a black-and-white poster of a gorgeous young man sliding his briefs down farther below his ripped abs than a Calvin Klien ad would allow. This doorman sets the proper mood to enjoy more of the same on the TV screens and to sip signature drinks like "Blackbeard on a Diet" with other stimulated fellows at the bar or in the more secluded sofa areas. As patrons mingle, the nightly entertainment escalates the mood. The happy hour piano player starts things off and is followed by dancers and a drag show on Fridays. Dudes is an excellent place to be a dude... if you're into dudes. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>
There is never enough team spirit at Duffy's Sports Grill. Football helmets line the aisles, and the giant bar area boasts 13 huge projector screens that play every game and sport imaginable. If that's not sports overload, young women in jerseys offer enthusiastic "how are yas?" at every corner while they walk past restaurant-area walls littered with photos of athletic icons such as Jack Nicklaus, Lance Armstrong, and Mickey Mantle. Regulars readily offer up that it's the best happy hour in town, with two-for-one on everything from 4 p.m. to close everyday. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>

http://www.duffysmvp.com Typical of South Florida sports-bar excess, Duffy's piles it on in every way: Huge, heart-stopping piles of meat. Flat-screens covering every conceivable surface showing every competitive match from around the globe. Nubile waitresses clad in gimmicky outfits. In its previous incarnations (Red Zone, Original Steakhouse) not much was different. Ribs, chicken wings, quesadillas and the rest are totally serviceable, like you'd expect from a big restaurant that's part of a big chain: it all feels more than a bit impersonal and impenetrable. But there's plenty of beer, a swell happy hour setup, and sports, sports, and more sports. What else do you want, a hug? Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>
