http://www.rachels.com OK, so you should take this place with a grain of salt - or a pinch of Viagra. Housed in a "men's club" featuring "adult entertainment," this steak house/strip joint serves some of the best prime rib, filet mignon, and porterhouse in South Florida. Don't let the "entertainment" label fool you, though - strippers do bottomless table dances while you dine so that you can have your cheesecake and eat it too. Rack of lamb and tuna steak also rate as highly as the enhanced bosoms of the dancers, and à la carte vegetables like creamed spinach are worth the extra expense. http://www.ramrodbar.com Leather and light spirits, despite the serious sexual energy and sex-toy shop, make this indoor/outdoor bar a great place to hang out -- or to pick up. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>
Though this Tex Mex restaurant and bar, located just half a block from Deerfield Beach, serves Southwestern cuisine, the décor of mounted fish and fishing photographs suggests a fascination with the nearby ocean. Rattlesnake Jake's is divided in half, with the restaurant on one side and a small bar, bustling with friendly local fellows, on the other. The bar serves a variety of imports and domestics such as Sierra Nevada, Yeungling, Fosters, Blue Moon, Samuel Adams Boston Lager, and Pabst Blue Ribbon on draft. During the weekday happy hour, from 3 to 7 p.m., select domestic drafts are $1, domestic bottles are $2.50, and import bottles are $4. Rattlesnake closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>

http://www.facebook.com/ReefRoad Formerly Clematis Social and brought to you by the owner of Dr. Feelgood's, Monarchy, and Lost Weekends, Reef Road Rum Bar is where West Palm's bed-headed, Sublime T-shirt-wearing types gather on Mondays. Reggae and dubstep reverberate from the ministage at the front, and through the bones of those dancing on the sidewalk. Tuesdays draw the karaoke crowd (specials include $3 Bud Lights and $5 you-call-it drinks), and Wednesday is ladies' night (Women drink free from 9 to 11 p.m.). The bar is named after the famous, private West Palm Beach surf spot Reef Road, and it pulsates with beach culture and Tiki décor. Bamboo lines the ceiling, fluorescent lights radiate from behind the bar and behind thin bamboo shoots, and blowfish glow over the lanterns. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>
http://www.respectablestreet.com/rst/ For more than 20-something years, Respectable Street has reigned strong over the West Palm Beach nightclubs and bar scene on Clematis Street and probably will do so for another few decades. The dimly lit smoky front bar has a large stage where musical local and legends perform on a weekly basis. The walls are adorned in art from the surrounding community, and plush velvet couches line the left side of the room. The outdoor patio allows partygoers to take a break from the high-energy happenings inside or even be an extra in a music video. Never a dull moment inside Respectable Street, and there probably won’t ever be one. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>
http://www.roccostacos.com Rocco's Tacos is a trendy and upbeat Mexican restaurant on Las Olas Boulevard known for its handmade tortillas, guacamole made to order, and more than 225 types of tequila. The décor is fun and modern, including large star-encrusted chandeliers, Mexican memorabilia, rustic wooden tables, and roomy booths. At night, Rocco's Tacos caters to the South Florida party scene, playing top 40 hits. On the weekends, Rocco himself is known to perform his special "tequila dance" on top of the bar while pouring guests shots. There is outdoor and indoor seating available. http://www.itsbetteronthebeach.com/rock-bar/ Fort Lauderdale beach's newly renovated Rock Bar looks like how it sounds -- cheesy, lowbrow, and fun. An edgy red and black motif is complemented by record-sleeve-lined walls, bathtub-sized margarita glasses, and the biggest disco ball you'll probably ever see in your life. Ample indoor/outdoor seating; lots of cheap, beachy drink specials; and uncomfortably loud electronic (curiously, not rock) music streaming over the sidewalk make this an ideal location for a 20-something crowd, especially during spring-break season. And even though the oceanfront views are great, what rock-inspired lounge would be complete without a dark and seedy backdoor-accessible counterpart? Inside and behind Rock Bar is Exit 66, an enormous, Americana-themed dance room, complete with its own separate tiki bar and swimming pool out back. The possibilities for debauchery are virtually endless. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>
http://www.rokbarmiami.com Rokbar is not a rock 'n' roll bar where you can check out local bands. Rather, it's a club that glamorizes the rock 'n' roll lifestyle. It's a genuine Miami Beach nightclub with plenty of free-flowing drinks, moving lights, and pumping music. An impressive roster of world-famous musicians and DJs have performed here, and celebrities and models frequent the chic lounge. So there's plenty of reason to dress up. You never know who you'll meet on the dance floor. For those who want to spend in style, bottle service is available. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>

http://www.rooneyspublichouse.com A one-team sports pub is what Rooney's is all about. The owners are the founders of the Pittsburgh Steelers, a good thing to know before you start talking trash about the Black and Gold. Super Bowl plans must be made well in advance here, of course. The menu in the dark-wood and dark-green rooms is heavy with bar foods, but notable is the all-Angus Rooney burger and the "Ruben meets Rachel" corned beef and turkey sandwich. They're Irish, so potato-leek soup, shepherd's pie, fish and chips, and Irish stew -- dubbed "Steeler's stew " -- are served here -- and the place rocks like a ship on St. Patrick's Day. A long list of brews, with the pub's own Rooney's Red Ale, are offered. Look for a few Pittsburgh favorites as well -- you don't find pierogies on just any menu in town. http://www.roseybaby.com By day, students and suits crowd Rosey Baby for crawfish pasta and other Louisiana favorites, but by night, the tiny club pushes tables and chairs aside. Patrons literally bump elbows with the regional crop of traditional blues purveyors regularly holding court. This spicy little number feels like a New Orleans bar mysteriously picked up and planted in Lauderhill. The kicks range from mild, found in appetizers like crawfish bisque and sautéed alligator, to seriously zingy, in main courses such as blackened catfish or blackened rib eye. Buckets of crawfish, served in season only (not available July through December) are the best around, as are boiled Cajun blue crabs, when they're on special. Po-boys and muffulettas are requirements for N'awlins food-lovers. Live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>
