http://www.propagandalw.com Lake Worth's indie-music hot spot, Propaganda has the monopoly on good local, original music most nights of the week. If a local band hasn't played the spot, it won't be long. Even Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional has been known to drop in for a surprise show. The Soviet-themed décor recalls Socialist propaganda posters: drowned in red, lots of salutes, war planes. Except at Propaganda, the guy saluting has a bottle of Stoli vodka in his hand. Sure, Socialists actually thought alcoholism was a huge drain on the state, but the club is an important part of South Florida's creative base. If supporting local artists is important to you, there are few places more dedicated to the cause than Propaganda. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>

http://www.respectablestreet.com/rst/ For more than 20-something years, Respectable Street has reigned strong over the West Palm Beach nightclubs and bar scene on Clematis Street and probably will do so for another few decades. The walls are adorned in art from the surrounding community, and plush velvet couches line the left side of the room. The outdoor patio allows partygoers to take a break from the high-energy happenings inside or even be an extra in a music video. Never a dull moment inside Respectable Street, and there probably won’t ever be one. Read more about this Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach bar or club >>

An impressive roster of world-famous musicians and DJs have performed here, and celebrities and models frequent the chic lounge. So there's plenty of reason to dress up. http://www.santolounge.com It's only fitting that a nightclub named Santo - Spanish for saint - shares its address with a multimillion-dollar casino. shares its address with a multimillion-dollar casino. Originally on South Beach's Lincoln Road, Santo relocated to Hallandale Beach's Gulfstream Park in the summer of 2010. Though the area's nightlife was seemingly nonexistent, this 4,000-square-foot, urban-chic lounge attracts an upscale South Florida crowd from Boca to Brickell. Located on the second floor of the casino complex, Santo offers full bar and bottle service. As is the case with most ultralounges, Santo isn't cheap - $20 cover after midnight - but the people are beautiful and the staff is gracious, thus justifying the price of admission. The lounge gets busy after midnight, and it's not uncommon to see young lovers flirting and scantily clad women dancing atop the bar. http://www.scorebar.net Adonis is in the house, South Beach style. Good luck getting past the attitude, though. Since its inception Score has been the epicenter of the well-coifed and tightly muscled set, and it can be tough to break into those tight-knit cliques, though things get looser as the night goes on. http://www.shenaniganssportspub.com A few miles west of I-95 on Sheridan is the family-owned Shenanigans Sports Pub. Hanging in the front window is a giant Irish flag, but the interior's décor reflects that of a quintessential locals-only sports hangout. From the referee-uniform-clad bartenders to an anything-goes (and smoke-free!) atmosphere, Shenanigans is the place for sports junkies. Multiple TVs hang in various locations, the wood-paneled walls are decked out with neighborhood sports team memorabilia, and kitschy NASCAR lamps dangle over dimly lit pool tables. The jeans and T-shirt beer guzzlers can be heard either yelling at the television or singing along karaoke-style to the '90s cover band playing under the disco ball. In addition to a wide selection of beers, Shenanigans has a surprisingly large signature-cocktail menu, including the particularly refreshing palmetto cocktail, a mix of pink lemonade and sweet tea vodka. http://www.tequilaranch.com You may not want to return to the scene of the crime that involved a bucket's worth of Coronas and one too many rides on a mechanical bull, but if you can brave it, you'll be rewarded with a standout weekend brunch of Mexican fare that far surpasses the basic huevos rancheros.
