    Gerri's in Margate looks fairly small from the outside, but once you get inside, you see it's surprisingly large. The bar is front-and-center, with darts on one wall and a pool table a bit farther away. Locals flock to this joint afternoon and night to have a few beverages and poke fun at one another. Gerri's philosophy is "every hour is happy hour," and the bar makes good on that with daily specials, including $1 bottles and $2 domestic drafts. The trimmings at Jesse's Xtreme Sports Bar include surf boards, skateboards, wakeboards, and snowboards hanging from the ceiling. FuelTV radiates from TVs, and the menu boasts quotes from "Kelli" Slater and "Toni" Hawk - apparently Hawk goes big, but not as big as Jesse's cheesesteaks. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Specials include $1.50 domestic drafts and $2 domestic bottles.     Probably Margate's best-known watering hole, Mugshots, located off State Road 7, offers up a laid-back atmosphere with poker nights, bike nights, and karaoke. Knickknacks litter the wall behind the bar, and the TVs that line the wall above play anything from PBS to the Amazing Race. The bar doesn't serve hard liquor (just beer and wine), but the casual atmosphere doesn't seem conducive for heavy drinking. Instead stop by to knock back some cold ones while playing some poker or pool. Bike night is on Thursday, Poker night is on Sundays and Mondays, and Karaoke is every Friday. Pool tables and electronic punching games greet patrons at the door, inviting them in for a round of drunken competition. From flat-screen TVs to fluorescent beer signs and sports memorabilia, this bar has all the expected trimmings. Scantily clad waitresses serve locals from behind a circular exposed-brick bar, while the shot girls tempt the crowd to partake in some risque drinking fun. More often than not, the bartenders can be found keeping the stripper pole warm during one of the live bands. Although the interior looks like that of a typical sports haven, the O'Malley's drunkards are more likely to be at a Metallica show than a Dolphins game.     Sharkey and his wife treat customers like part of their family. The bar boasts just 26 seats, and just as many kegs of beer are ordered weekly. Regulars don't just come to have a beer or two - they visit on Thanksgiving and bowl with turkeys. They go on daytrips together and compete in bar competitions. They have birthday wishes included on the bar's calendar of events. Sharkey himself can often be found at the bar commiserating, dressed in his Hawaiian shirts.
