Dada in downtown Delray Beach is a one-of-a-kind spot. The food is original and fantastic, and the environment is the epitome of artsy. With its gorgeous exterior décor and indie interior design (it takes quite a place to successfully paint ants crawling on walls without freaking out the patrons), no wonder people are attracted to it. Having a monthly craft bazaar might sound like an odd venture for a restaurant to undertake, but Dada knows its audience. This is the same place that has opened its doors to improv troupes and local musicians, creating a strong feeling of community within its walls. The bazaar, however, is being held in the garden area. There are anywhere between five and ten vendors per craft show, with Thursday expected to draw in nine vendors. Valentine's Day procrastinators, take note: If you want to find something unique, homemade, and/or vintage for your special someone, this could be your best -- and last -- bet.
The craft bazaar is held at Dada every second Thursday of the month, with the next one taking place today. Dada is located at 52 N. Swinton Ave. in Delray Beach. The vendors will be open for business from 7 to 10 p.m. The bazaar is free, so all you need to do is show up and grab a delicious mojito while you peruse the crafts.
