Humans are storytellers. We craft stories from words and pictures, we act them out, and we dance and sing them. We share stories and we exchange them. Stories allow us to communicate, to persuade, to entertain, to remember. We fill them with creativity, and we send them around the world.
How can story, creativity, and global learning come together in a vibrant teaching practice? What stories are we and our students learning and telling about ourselves and the world? What do we think we know because of the stories we have been exposed to? How can we find new ways of seeing? What do stories look like when they’re told without words? How can we integrate other art forms into their creation? How can we use stories, written or otherwise, to teach about ourselves and to learn about others?
