Program 1: The Journey
Every fairy tale begins with a journey. This program includes Strauss’ Ein Heldenleben, the first movement of Dvorak’s New World Symphony and an original story narrated live by SFCE resident author with music by Edvard Grieg.

Program 2: The Spirit (Guide) of Giving
For our annual holiday program, we are featuring famous sidekicks such as Sancho Panza from Don Quixote with music by Richard Strauss, Telemann, and Purcell, Rossini;s Cinderella and Reinecke's Show White.

Program 3: The Villain
This program includes great villains from opera like Scarpia and Salome, John Williams’ Darth Vader and the full length version of Peter and the Wolf where the audience decides what animals the story should include based on the music while SFCE resident artist Michael Moss draws the new version live.

Program 4: Love Letters
Love is the focus of our annual Valentine’s Day program inspired by Shakespeare including Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Othello, and Much Ado About Nothing.

Program 5: In the End
Every season ends with In the End, and this season it is a happily ever after concert. We end with music inspired by 1001 Nights including Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherezade, Ali Baba and Aladdin. Saturday, March 18, 2017 3pm
