The center's striking, contemporary exhibit hall starts with a site map of the complex's three-mile preserve, proceeds to Living Crossroads, a 10-minute closed-caption video program, and then offers a series of interactive and static displays (including a stocked 3,500-gallon aquarium) that vividly portray and explain West Lake's ecological system and its importance. Visitors then proceed to the Eco Room for engaging hands-on investigations of South Florida's shallow-water habitats and animals' residents. For all ages. $1/person; annual passes are available for $5/person.
