The support group for people infected and affected by HIV. It is a therapeutic support group using three group leaders versed in education , counseling, and new patient information. The program offers one-on-one counseling for newly diagnosed as well as men who want to brush up on the latest information. Topics discussed include, depression, self esteem, managing side effects, coming out as positive, holiday stress, how to structure time in retirement, stress reduction, disclosure, condom negotiation, dating in the age of HIV, safe sex, death and dying, family dynamics.
