Tired of grocery-store produce? If so, get your green on with the West Boca Green Market at Olympic Heights High School. Every Sunday, you’ll find seafood, desserts, French pastries, cheeses, olive oils and dressings, cooked food for lunch and dinner to take home, flowers and plants, homemade soaps, candles, weight-loss and nutrition products, handmade jewelry, and, of course, organic produce. For the health-conscious or those with dietary issues, there are vegan and gluten-free options as well. There will also be five to ten boutiques. If you’re worried about unpredictable South Florida weather, don’t. Olympic Heights has plenty of breezeways that will shield you from any unexpected downpour as you pick out your organic goodies. Admission to this scrumptious market is free, so you can splurge on fresh deliciousness for a week’s supply of food. The West Boca Green Market takes place every Sunday, all year round, from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Olympic Heights Community High School, located at 20101 Lyons Road in Boca Raton.
