At the beginning (or end, depending on how you look at it) of Delray Beach's downtown strip on Atlantic Avenue is the Bull Bar. Named after the bullhead dolphin, the tiny but extremely lively bar is one of the more laid-back spots on “the Ave.” There are no red velvet ropes, jeans are acceptable, and a casual attitude is found among the patrons. A wooden bar extends along the left side of the bar, and a tiny stage hangs toward the back. The interior is mostly wooden and pays homage to the folks who spend their lives at sea. Because of its size, the watering hole is usually quite cramped, but the bartenders rarely leave a glass dry.
