There's nothing nouveau or trendy at this downtown Fort Lauderdale smokehouse/sports bar. Casual and funky (check out Ernie's anti-gold-standard diatribes framed all over the downstairs dining room), Ernie's is a favorite with customers who keep coming back for the oversized burgers, fresh conch chowder, and home-baked Bimini bread.
